Austin Environmental City Council Candidate Forum

Environmental stewardship is a cornerstone of Austin culture. It’s a big part of what makes Austin special. The Austin City Council should play a key role in upholding these environmental values. Districts 1, 3, 5, 8 and 9 all have elections this fall, so now is the time to learn where the candidates stand on the issues. This forum is an opportunity to hear what the candidates think about a variety of environmental issues, as well as transparent governance. Join us to learn and engage with the candidates before you head to the polling place this fall.

KUT Senior Correspondent on Energy and Environment, Mose Buchele, will moderate the forum.Candidates from a given district will take the stage together, in the following order: 9, 8, 5, 3, 1.
