A People's History of Austin

From Teach For America Austin Alumni Association –

Come join us as we explore and discuss the history of Austin from the perspective of people of color. Moderated by Daniel Zarazua, the panel will include University of Texas professor Dr. Richard Reddick, Austin City Council Member Pio Renteria, and retired United Methodist minister Dr. Freddie B. Dixon, Sr.

This panel is hosted by The Collective, TFA’s national alumni of color association designed to grow leadership capacity and strengthen community for our alums. Our hope is that this discussion will leave our alums and friends of alums inspired by the history of Austin and empowered to build our network in the community. This event is open to all alums and friends!
