30 years of Saving Our Springs

It fully stands the test of time, just like the SOS ordinance and the community that loves and supports our Hill Country land, water and wildlife.
Next Monday, on August 8th, we will celebrate 30 years of citizen action to save our springs at Barton Springs, swimming and visiting all day and honoring the occasion with a bit of music, refreshments, and ceremony at the front gate from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The Minor Mishap Marching Band will kick off the event, and Mr. Habitat, Bill Oliver, will be there to lead a few rounds of Barton Springs Eternal.
Please come reconnect or connect for the first time.
With your help we will finish what we started 30 years ago in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead. It takes a community to save a community spring!
