Two events coming up that I hope you’ll consider and chat up/forward on to freinds/associates:

– Thursday night, Jan 28 – 7:00-8:30 – Winter Series – Texology with Dick Pierce – Habitat Suites Hotel

#2 in the 2010 Winter Series – Dick Pierce and the ever-popular, always informative, "Texology – Geol-ogy, Hydrol-ogy, Climatol-ogy, Agron-omy….of Central  TX………now, then, way back when, and before that."

Central Texas, Where did it come from? Where’s it been? Where’s it gone? Where is it now? What’s that mean for weather, water, soil, gardens, people, sustainability…… This fun talk will tell you things you never knew about C-TX. Hopefully it will charge you up to find out/learn all you can about your place – C-TX, Austin, your water-shed, your front and back yard………..and what you might do about it to help Nature with her considerable challenges and helping us humans live with joy and abundance in the process.

– The Winter/Spring 2010 Permaculture Design Course starts on Sat., Jan 30 – 10 Sat’s thru April 3

There is room for you in this life-changing, world-changing Course with a wonderful group of like-minded C-Texans – some new to TX, some old hands/natives, some into the environment, some just starting, rural property owners, suburban/urban home-owners, city renters, young, mid-way, mature – all are welcome, all love it and learn a lot.
