Join Liveable City to learn about Austin’s new proposed Watershed Protection Ordinance, currently in the drafting stages and slated to come to the City Council in Spring 2013.
Matt Hollon, Environmental Conservation Manager, will discuss how the proposed ordinance aims to improve creek and floodplain protection, prevent unsustainable public expense related to drainage systems, simplify development regulations where possible and allow appropriate development on nearby land.
