Chicas Verdes Monthly Lunch

Chicas Verdes meets for lunch the first Tuesday of each month at 11:45 AM for green-minded ladies in Austin. Feel free to invite your friends, but please RSVP at least one day before so we can save you a seat! If you have a suggestion about a restaurant we haven’t visited in a while or a new one to check out, please send them my way to consider for the future.

It is time once again to enjoy each others company and some delicious food.
As usual, we will be meeting the first Tuesday of the month, July 7th, at 11:45. I hear that some of you have been requesting that we meet further north, so we have decided to meet at Madras Pavilion. (see info. below)

As you know, Katie is traveling and moving to Dallas. I fell privileged to carry on the torch for Chicas Verdes. I have always been involved in environmental activism, and though I’ve lived in several “progressive cities” I’ve never seen a group like this before. Having recently moved to Austin, the June Chicas Verdes was my first. Although new to town, I feel like the community here has welcomed me and opened many doors. I am honored to continue the Chicas Verdes tradition and look forward to bringing more environmentally minded women together. Please do let me know if you have any ideas for learning, locations to meet, or anything else.
