For August Craft Night, we’ll use a show and tell approach to share ideas for the deceptively difficult task of organizing your craft area. Attendees should come ready to share examples of organizing strategies that have worked for them (pictures would be a big bonus) and be prepared to learn some cool new tricks. After sharing tips and ideas, we’ll take a tour through the bucket section to find items you can use to declutter your own studio.
Your ticket price includes a bucket for you to stock up on supplies to help you in your quest to upcycle your way to organizational dominance!
This is an indoor workshop. Masks and social distancing required.
About Craft Night:
Falling on the last Thursday of each month, Craft Night is a long held tradition led by two of ACR’s dedicated core volunteers. Craft Night is not only an opportunity to celebrate the pure joy of making things, but is also an excellent chance to explore the rich offerings of ACR’s wonderful bucket section. Your admission fee of $5 will entitle you to fill a bucket with items from our bucket section that can be used for that evening’s project (along with whatever else happens to tickle your fancy)! Pack it to the brim if you’d like to get every bit of your $5 worth! Your instructors will organize a project for each class and after walking you through the framework, will turn you loose to gather items for your project so you can commence to crafting. We’ll provide tools and any specialty items you might need to complete the project.
Craft night is appropriate for ages 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult and each person is required to purchase a ticket.
