Creative Kids Club: Crafty Costuming

Join Bee on an adventure to craft your own costume! We will use reclaimed and reused materials to create an imaginative costume plus accessories to match, or not to match.
This project will be using a variety of materials to create fun costumes! Whether it’s a wizard hat or superhero mask, we’ll be sure to bring your vision to life! Why buy a costume when you can make it yourself!
This workshop will focus on using materials from our Bucket section. Kits are available in our online store or you can shop for your own supplies using the materials list.
Our mission here at Austin Creative Reuse is to foster conservation and reuse through creativity, education and community building. We keep valuable materials out of the landfill and in the hands of the creative community of Austin.

Hot glue gun, string or twine. Varying materials to create your costumes- felt, paper, clothespins, pipe cleaners, stickers, disposable plates and utensils, it’s very versatile!
