If you’re looking for a fun, free, and educational event to attend, this is the one for you!
Join as at Karst Preserve at Western Oaks for a two-part workshop. Beginning at 10 am our Education Coordinator, Collin McMichael will take you on a casual beginner tree id walk that will reintroduce you to nature and teach you about the trees of the preserve.
Then, after a short break, we will bring out our Tree ID Keys to begin a more formal educational experience. This portion is designed to be the more intense Tree ID Workshop where we return to the site of the tree tour and find trees to practice identifying. During that time TreeFolks staff or volunteers will be available to troubleshoot, answer questions, and offer help.
You’re welcome to come to one or both parts depending on your educational preferences! You can RSVP here.
