Liveable City Holiday Bash

You’re invited to Liveable City’s annual Holiday Bash, Monday, December 6th, 5:30pm-8pm, at the new Black Star Co-op Pub & Brewery, located on the Red Line in Crestview Station at North Lamar & Airport Boulevard.
Catch up with old friends and meet new ones, sample luscious complimentary appetizers, or hoist a frosty beverage at the cash bar. Scout out Black Star’s modern glass interior and get a jump on your holiday shopping at our festive silent auction. Gift-worthy items include a tasting tour of Cyprus Mill’s McReynolds Winery; dinners from Eddie V’s Edgewater Grill, Uchi and Uchiko, Z Tejas Grill, Opal Divine’s Bar & Grill, or Ruby’s BBQ; a gift certificate to Russell Korman Fine Jewelry; season passes to the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar; great reads from BookPeople; a private tour of Seaholm; and more!
The annual Holiday Bash is also a great time to join or renew your Liveable City membership, though we recommend taking care of this online before the party (gets you to the food and drink faster!). As a member, you’ll be eligible to nominate folks for this spring’s 2011 Liveable Vision Awards – and we’ll be kicking off the nominations with a special table at this year’s party so please start thinking about those deserving local heroes now.

Driving Directions to Black Star: From central Austin, take Lamar north to the intersection with Airport Blvd (there will be a stoplight, railroad tracks, and you’ll see the Crestview Station complex on your left). At the very next stoplight, take a left on St. Johns into the Crestview Station complex and take another immediate left onto Easy Wind Drive. Look for street parking or use the free garage on your right about halfway down Easy Wind. Black Star is at the end of Easy Wind on your left just before the train tracks.
