Sustainable Food Policy Board Annual Planning Work Session

The Sustainable Food Policy Board (SFPB) – an advisory body to the Austin City Council and the Travis County Commissioner’s Court announces a work session to prioritize policy issues and objectives that will support a sustainable local food system and ensure access to good quality food for all.

PLEASE JOIN US!  The SFPB welcomes stakeholder input during this work session and all of its meetings. Individuals can speak at the beginning of any meeting during citizen communication and can also sign-up for a specific agenda item to give relevant input. In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, all agendas are posted 72 hours in advance on the city website with minutes and supporting documents added as they become approved and available.

Only with community input and support can the SFPB effectively advise policymakers on the many critical issues affecting the Austin/Travis County food system and access to quality food as a human right.
