City of Austin Zero Waste Advisory Commission (ZWAC)

Join the City Council appointed representatives for robust discussions and actions on Austin's local Zero Waste policies. 

ZWAC reviews and analyzes the policies and resources relating to solid waste management in the city and advises council on solid waste management policies and resources. The members also provide assistance to council to ensure its citizens that the City provides an economical and environmentally safe system of waste reduction, recovery and disposal.
