Special Performance by Oh Whitney

Oh Whitney is a rock band that has called several places home since its first incarnation in Brooklyn, NY in 2010. They cut their teeth performing in and around NYC for a couple years, while also playing down the East Coast and into central Mexico, where they began working with drummer Rick Shlosser (of Van Morrison, James Taylor, Etta James, among others). After recording their debut album “Oh Whitney” in Queretaro, Mexico, they relocated to Fort Worth, TX touring behind the new record. For the last couple years the group has experienced an unusual trajectory for an American band, spending the majority of their time recording and touring outside of the United States, predominantly in central Mexico and Bahia, Brazil. Oh Whitney is currently settling into their new home base of Austin, TX while finishing their forthcoming album produced by Donald Fagen (of Steely Dan) set to release by Fall 2014.
