What's Inside...

It was the 1970s and the Westcave Grotto on Hamilton Pool Road was the cool place to hang out. Fun-loving party-goers from throughout Central Texas trespassed onto the property to skinny dip in the grotto’s cool blue waters and dance along its shores. They also left behind quite a bit of trash and about 40 years ago were finally kicked out by the founders of the Westcave Preserve (which eventually became Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center).

The founders cleaned up the grotto and returned the land to its former glory. Today, the site is home to a much more family-friendly atmosphere, complete with guided, educational tours of the grotto.

Now, in celebration of its 40th anniversary, Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center is inviting all of those trespassers back for the “Trespassers Ball,” an evening of reminiscing and fun. The event will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 5pm to 9pm at Westcave Preserve and will feature music, dancing, local food, and a drum circle.

And don’t worry, the event is open to trespassers and non-trespassers alike. All are welcome! Tickets can be purchased here>>
