The Earth Day ATX Festival is this Saturday, April 13th from noon to 6pm and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to learn and discover how to make an impact.

Plus, this year Earth Day ATX has merged with Texas VegFest (after it was rained out last weekend), so you’ll have the chance to taste and learn more about some of our city’s best plant-based foods.

So what’s planned for this year’s festival?

Along with kids activities, a rock wall, live music, and free bike giveaways, there will also be lots of panels and guest speakers, including:

• Sustainability From the Business’ Side: Expectations, Challenges, and Solutions – 1:30pm to 2:25pm at the Sustainable Living Showcase
• Sustainability on a Global Scale: How Technology and Entrepreneurship Can Build A Greener Future From The Local To The Global  – 5pm to 5:50pm at the Sustainable Living Showcase
• Celebrating Six Square Miles of History and Culture by Six Square, Austin’s Black Cultural District – 3pm to 3:45pm at the Community Justice Hub
• Office of Police Oversight Presents Know Your Rights – 4pm to 4:45pm at the Community Justice Hub
• Green New Deal: Game Changer – 2pm to 2:30pm at the Climate Action Tent
• It’s Possible. It’s Happening: Top Actions Austinites Are Taking To Reverse Global Warming – 2:30pm to 3pm at the Climate Action Tent
