[Volunteer] Saturday, March 5th from 9am to 5pm the Austin Parks Foundation is hosting It’s My Park Day at dozens of sites around the city. It’s My Park Day is the foundation’s largest city-wide volunteer event of the year, bringing out thousands of volunteers to improve parks, trails and greenbelts throughout the city. [Reuse Clinic] Saturday, March 5th from noon to3pm Austin Resource Recovery is hosting a FixIt Clinic for small electronics and appliances at Recycled Reads. Fixit Clinics are all about do-it-together hands-on disassembly, troubleshooting and repair knowledge. Just bring your broken electronics to the clinic, and volunteer coaches will help you to fix it. [Farm Tour] Sunday, March 6th from 1pm to 3pm the Austin and Central Texas Backyard Poultry Meetup group is hosting a tour of the Coyote Creek Organic Feed Mill. Coyote Creek is the only organic feed mill in Texas and is dedicated to sustainable, organic, and local farming and ranching practices, coupled with the humane treatment of all animals.
