It’s almost here. Amplify Austin Day begins at 6pm on March 2nd.
Amplify Austin Day is our city’s annual community-wide day of online giving. Over a 24-hour period, the entire city is asked to give back to our local nonprofit organizations. Over the past four years, Amplify Austin has managed to raise over $24.7 million for hundreds of local organizations. In 2016 alone, they brought in $8.5 million. This year, the goal is to hit $9 million.
There are literally hundreds of local nonprofit organizations that you can give to on Amplify Austin Day, but we’ve picked out a few of the eco-focused ones:
- Austin Creative Reuse
- Austin Habitat for Humanity
- Austin Parks Foundation
- Colorado River Alliance
- Ecology Action
- Keep Austin Beautiful
- National Wildlife Federation
- Public Citizen
- Sustainable Food Center
- Texas Campaign for the Environment Fund
- TreeFolks
- Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center
