Have you attended a Solar Austin Happy Hour (SAHH) lately? They go down once a month at the Scholz Garten. I've found them a great source of informative, thought-provoking presentations and conversation. And, it's a great opportunity to make friends and allies in the fight for the planet. To entice more of y'all to attend, here's an overview of the topics covered at the last several SAHHs:

June: Non-Profits Going Solar! – Two Austin non-profit organizations shared their experience with solar PV installations. Solar truly helps them meet their mission.

May: Austin Energy's New Solar Manager – AE's new manager dedicated to the rooftop solar program shared her top priorities and to-do's for greater solar deployment in Austin.

March: Transitions in Energy and the World – Austin Energy's outgoing special adviser provided his insights into our evolving energy economy and beyond.

December: Sunshine & Clouds for Rooftop Solar – A UT Assistant Professor of Public Affairs shared the opportunities and uncertainties he's observed in the distributed solar market.
