Well, they all leads to a joyous event on Tues., May 11 at the Barr Mansion fromn 6:30 – 10:30 PM
 
   The Spring 2010 Local Food Potluck & Celebration
 
Please come and help us celebrate the joy and bounty of our [late] Spring Local produce; honor our local farmers, gardeners, growers, producers; congratulate the Spring crop of Citizen Gardener and Permaculture Design Graduates; and, come and have a great time with great food, great people,and great fun.
 
Please bring a smile, a friend or two, a dish foer 6-8 servings, and beverage of your choice with a little to share with friends.
 
Your dish, ahhh your dish – please make it with [some] ingredients that are local and in-season – your garden, a farm stand, a CSA, a delivery service, or the farmers market. You have the Wed market at the Triangle, the Sat markets at Barton Creek Plaza and downtown, Boggy Creek Farm, etc. Please get excited about your favorite recipe and how you can source the ingredients locally – it’s fun; it’s nutritious; it’s the right [environmental, business, nutritional, social] thing to do. Bring a 3×5 card with your name and ingredients and their source with your dish. Thanks.
