As of Friday, June 7th, we have moved into our new home! But the campaign isn’t quite complete. We have raised 91% of our $4.5 million capital campaign goal. Donor Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Our campaign donor “ribbon” cutting was an amazing evening – guests were able to interact with all of our programs. Thank you to the guests who planted herbs in our rooftop planters for our teaching kitchen. It was wonderful to experience our volunteer-led “Taste the Place” upstairs in our Farm Direct pod with fresh, local produce. Our fabulous nibbles in the teaching kitchen and community room were from two recipes in our cookbook through The Happy Kitchen/La Cocina Alegre® with varying cheeses from our amazing market artisans. And we were so thankful to Austin Wine Merchant and Independence Brewing Company for donating the wine and beer for all to enjoy.
