Earth Day ATX, Rocky Mountain Institute, City of Austin Transportation Department and Capital Metro have joined forces to showcase a self-driving vehicle at Earth Day Austin 2017 on April 22nd, noon to 7pm. The showcase, developed in partnership with an autonomous vehicle manufacturer, will demonstrate self-driving vehicles as a safe, clean, and efficient mobility solution. Attendees at Earth Day Austin 2017 will have an opportunity to ride in a self-driving vehicle and talk with the developers about how self-driving technology works and how it will empower people and improve personal mobility in our cities.
