Show Your Love For Barton Springs

Show Your Love For Barton Springs

Barton Springs Pool

What's Inside...

Crazy in love with Barton Springs? Now’s your chance to show it.

The Barton Springs Conservancy is creating a new exhibit at the Beverly S. Sheffield Education Center at Barton Springs Pool and they want you to get involved. The exhibit will be called “Faces of Barton Springs” and will feature a 9-foot long collage of Barton Springs swimmers from all walks of life, (this means YOU!) ranging from artists and athletes to scientists and spiritual seekers.

The exhibit will also feature listening stations showcasing poetry, music, and other springs-related lore. Visitors will be encouraged to create Barton Springs-inspired poetry on the magnetized Susan Bright Memorial Tree, leave a love note for Barton Springs, and pose for a selfie with a life-sized vintage swimmer cut-out.

Faces of Barton Springs

Here’s how you can participate. The Barton Springs Conservancy is currently collecting pictures of Barton Springs lovers to include in the exhibit. If you’d like to be considered, all you have to do is send a high resolution of yourself or a group of friends at Barton Springs Pool. Just make sure that faces are included in the image.

The deadline for submissions is March 25th. You can submit your photo here>>
