You can be part of something bigger than yourself … with the Austin Parks Foundation. Registration is now open for It’s My Park Day, one of the Austin Parks Foundation’s biggest volunteer days of the year. In 2015, It’s My Park Day brought in 3,000 volunteers. Together, they contributed 10,000 hours of labor. That’s equivalent to five park maintenance employees working full-time for a whole year! All told, including labor, this one day represented an investment of over a quarter of a million dollars for Austin’s parks.

Now, the Austin Parks Foundation needs your help to do it all again this year. It’s My Park Day is Saturday, March 4th. All you need to do to participate is select a parks project (there are dozens to choose from) and register online>>
