Austin Bug Eating Festival

What's Inside...

Sponsored Post – from Little Herds

Save the date! The 10th Annual Austin Bug Eating Festival is on Saturday, June 10th from 4pm to 8pm at in.gredients. The event is being hosted by Little Herds, a local nonprofit organization that promotes and supports the use of insects for food (for both animals and humans) as a sustainable source of protein that requires the use of much less water, energy, and land than traditional protein sources (like beef).

Quickly becoming a staple for anyone looking for fun new ways to “Keep Austin Weird,” the Austin Bug Festival has fed thousands of folks their first bite of edible insects over the past 10 years. The event will feature samples of food made from insects, cooking demonstrations, live music, as well as special educational activities for kids. Tickets can be purchased online. More info>>
