Austin Animal Shelter Puppies

What's Inside...

The Austin Animal Center is at capacity and needs your help. With more than 50 animals arriving at the center per day and 1,350 animals already in their care, the Austin Animal Shelter is asking the public to only bring in pets who are sick, injured, or otherwise in danger.

“During this challenging time, we need to ensure we are able to help the animals who are sick or injured,” said Chief Animal Services Officer Tawny Hammond in a press release. “If residents can hold on to stray animals to give owners time to find them, we will provide crates, food and other supplies.”

To help with the overcrowding, the Austin Animal Center is also allowing anyone adopting a pet from June 10th to June 13th to name their own adoption fee. All pets come spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. More info>>
