Have any ideas for Capital Metro? Now’s your chance to share them. The transportation authority just released a new survey, designed to solicit public opinion about their short term planning efforts.

The new plan has been dubbed Connections 2025 and involves an in-depth study of Cap Metro’s current transit system, followed by recommendations for developing a more effective and efficient transit system in the future. Cap Metro’s goals for Connections 2025 include:

• Better understanding how it can serve its current and potential customers
• Increasing ridership
• Developing a core “backbone” transit network
• Developing closer links between Cap Metro and the community
