Have an outgrown, underutilized, or gently used bike lying around the house? Give it a second life with the new “Keep Kids and Bikes Moving” campaign, launched this month by Earth Day Austin, the Bicycle Sport Shop, and the Yellow Bike Project. Throughout the month of March, you can drop off your gently used bike at any Bicycle Sport Shop location or at the Yellow Bike Project center in East Austin. Yellow Bike Project volunteers will then inspect and fix the bikes so that they can be handed out to children at the Austin Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 22nd.
