Did you recycle your Christmas tree with Austin Resource Recovery this year? Now’s the time to reap your reward. The city will be handing out free mulch (made from the ground up Christmas trees they collected at Zilker Park and from curbs across Austin) starting January 18th.

All you have to do is show up at Zilker Park on Thursday, January 18th starting at 9am. Just remember to bring your own tools and storage containers for loading and transporting the mulch back to your house. Mulch will be made available for free on a first-come, first-served basis. More info>>
