Zilker Park Tree ID + Barton Springs Swim

Join the TreeFolks Young Professionals for an exciting evening at Zilker Park and Barton Springs! We’ll start with a tree identification walk around Zilker where we’ll learn about different trees species, and afterwards, we’ll head to Barton Springs for a sunset swim to cool off. This is the perfect opportunity to learn something new, meet some new people, and soak up the beauty of Austin’s urban forest:) Looking forward to seeing y’all there!
Details:
-What: Zilker Park Tree ID + (optional) Barton Springs Swim
-When: Wednesday, August 28th, 7pm to 9pm
-Where: Zilker Park (we’ll meet at the playscape shelter just east of Barton Springs Pool)
-Who: Open to anyone
-Cost: Free to attend! If you choose to join us at Barton Springs, you’ll need to buy a ticket for entry
-How: If driving to Barton Springs, the lots nearby have pay stations and can be busy. Carpool or ride share if you can!
