Young Sierrans Happy Hour

From the Young Sierrans –
Young Sierrans is the group of Sierra Club folks between the ages of 21 and 39-ish. We meet on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Waller Creek Pub House for socializing, discussion and brainstorming.
Join us to find out what the Young Sierrans are up to this month and give us your ideas about what events you’d like to see – help chart out future events!
6:30-7:00pm – Happy hour and socializing
7:00 pm – Announcements and program begins
We will have Angela Richter, the director from Save Barton Creek Association come talk to us about the organization. She is a young environmentalist who will go over how this nonprofit citizen group works to protect and conserve the six watersheds of the Barton Springs Edwards Aquifer. This organization formed in response to the community’s concern over the impact of urbanization on Barton Creek and Barton Springs.
Consider cycling or taking Cap Metro to the event. Free street parking is available after 6pm on Mondays, but double check signage in your parking area.
