Wood is one of the oldest building materials. For hundreds of years, the harvesting, supply and trading of wood has created industry and economic opportunity. Throughout history, the sustainability of the wood supply has also presented challenges. This seminar will examine the evolution of sustainable harvesting, forest management and the legal supply of wood to building construction. The session will also explore the newest in engineered wood building products.
