Welcoming Week: The Path Forward

Join the City of Austin as we close out Welcoming Week and shape Austin’s path forward together.

Hear welcoming remarks from Councilmember Siegel, followed by Briana Broberg from Welcoming America, who will share insights on the Welcoming Certification Standards and how they guide communities toward greater inclusion.

Then, take part in a hands-on, guided activity where your voice truly matters. You’ll help identify what Austin should build on, surface barriers that need attention, and contribute ideas that will shape the City’s Immigrant Affairs Roadmap. Your input will help shape upcoming policy decisions and program priorities for immigrant and refugee communities.
