The 88th Texas Legislature (and now two special sessions) have addressed a wide range of issues that will shape the building industry here in Texas.

In March, USGBC Texas members from across the state convened for our biennial Advocacy Day, demonstrating the diverse professional constituency behind important policy concepts that advance more sustainable and resilient buildings and cities.

How did it all turn out? Join our panel of USGBC Texas advocacy leaders to find out:
  • Jeremy Sigmon – moderator, former advocacy staff at USGBC national (now with a local manufacturer, PowerStack)
  • David Matiella – chair of the statewide advocacy committee for USGBC Texas (also with University of Texas at San Antonio)
  • Ken Flippin – advocacy consultant for USGBC Texas
  • Jonathan Kraatz – Executive Director, USGBC Texas
