Urban Roots is a youth development program in East Austin that uses sustainable agriculture to transform the lives of young people and increase access to fresh healthy food in East Austin.
We just hired our crew of youth farm interns, but they only work on the farm 9 hours a week during the school year. That means we need YOUR HELP to plant, maintain, and harvest our vegetables.
This fall, we have regular Tuesday and Thursday Volunteer Mornings from 8am-12 noon, and will also have a few Volunteer Saturdays. Come out and connect to the land while supporting a local farm and non-profit! You'll meet great people and learn about farming too!

No previous experience is necessary. We will provide all the training you need. No children under 10, please.
