Help us restore strong, native grasslands on the Water Quality Protection Lands!
Join the City of Austin’s Wildland Conservation Division’s volunteer Land Stewards to harvest native grass seed that we’ll later use to seed the wildlands to establish strong, native grasslands that improve water quality and quantity in the Barton Springs recharge zone.
This is a great opportunity to learn about restoration and grass identification, get exercise, and meet new people. Events are held on select Fridays and Sundays each month.
Located in the Driftwood area on FM 967 near 1626. Directions will be sent when you register at austintexas.gov/wildlandevents.
