Volunteer At The Juneteenth Parade With Austin Resource Recovery
June 19 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Greetings, we’d like to thank you for volunteering with Keep Austin Beautiful and Austin Resource Recovery!
Cleanup supplies will be provided on-site. If you prefer you may bring your own gloves.
When picking up litter, Keep Austin Beautiful recommends participants do so responsibly and at their comfort level.
Every year, the annual Juneteenth Parade in east Austin generates over 1,000lbs of recyclable material, including plastic water bottles and aluminum cans. In an effort to divert material and encourage event recycling, Austin Resource Recovery is seeking volunteers to help collect recyclable material, while staged along the parade route. The event is scheduled for Friday, June 19th.
