Join the City of Austin, City of Sunset Valley and Hill Country Conservancy to celebrate the completion of the Violet Crown Trail – North project! This one-mile extension of the Violet Crown Trail system connects Home Depot Boulevard to MoPac just north of William Cannon Drive.

The celebration will include:
• Remarks from elected officials and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:15 AM
• Live performances from the Crockett Cougar Band
• Complimentary popsicle treats to keep you cool
• A family-friendly bike ride led by Ghisallo Cycling Initiative
• An interactive nature walk led by Hill Country Conservancy
• Kids projects & activities from The Home Depot
