The UT Microfarm welcomes all members of the community to learn about organic and sustainable farming. No prior gardening or farming experience is required. We ask that you bring a water bottle and sun hat (if desired) and wear close-toed shoes and casual clothing. We will provide sunscreen, bug spray, and any necessary tools or supplies.
Prospective volunteers are not required to sign up and you may come and leave at any time throughout the workday. Groups and organizations are highly encouraged to attend. If you plan to bring a group of 10 or more, please contact us at microfarm@utenvironment.org at least a week in advance. Feel free to email us with any additional questions or suggestions.
