The University of Texas at Austin President’s Sustainability Steering Committee, with the support from the UT Austin Office of Sustainability, will host a full day symposium dedicated to highlighting the scholarly and practical sustainability efforts of the university community. The symposium itself is an effort to share our own best practices and academic findings in hopes of discovering new opportunities for collaboration and innovation. Up to five presentations will be selected for each of the following themes:
Health, Social Equity, and Community
UT Austin Medical District
Transportation/Mobility
Best of Research and Initiatives
Waller Creek
The symposium will feature approximately 25 short presentations from a variety of student, faculty, staff and practitioners. Each presentation will be no longer than 7 minutes and will be accompanied by a image-based PowerPoint presentation.
