TreeFolks NeighborWoods Giveaway Event

On March 1, TreeFolks will be away 1300 free 5-gal trees @ Highland Mall. All Austin Energy residential customers are eligible to participate. Just bring a copy of your utility bill or ID to prove residency, provide basic contact information and agree to plant your trees along the street according to our spacing guidelines.
Distribution will begin at 11:00 am in the easternmost parking lot of Highland Mall. Park at Highland Mall and walk to the giveaway area to get your trees. Be prepared to carry your tree back to your car. Here is a map of the giveaway location:

TreeFolks also needs volunteers to help give the trees. You’ll answer questions about trees, help move trees from the staging area, direct foot traffic and collect information from participants. There are two volunteer shifts, from 8:30-1:00 and 10:30-3:00. Sign up at:
