In April, we launched a campaign about making housing more equitable and accessible for people experiencing homelessness across our City: Housing Access Now: Stop Discrimination, Start Affordability! We’re working to reduce housing discrimination for people impacted by the criminal legal system and ensure deeply affordable housing units go to people who need them most.
On Wednesday, June 11th, we’re hosting a Town Hall with unhoused Austinites, frontline service providers, and City leaders. We’ll hear about the issues impacting people experiencing homelessness and what we can do to reduce barriers to housing and win more deeply affordable housing. We hope you can join us!
