Tiny Earthen Japanese Cozy Cottage

Come learn to build an Asian inspired Tiny Earthen Home featuring traditional Japanese, Moroccan and European earthen techniques that are perfect for a sustainable Texas Tiny House that’s efficient, lovely and economical.
Workshop Details:
Sat and Sun, March 21 – 22, 9am-4pm both days

Tuition: $175 $50/child
Family style lunch included
Hands-on learning intricacies of:
- Sculpting / molding European Clay board into pallet framing
- Solar and passive design with feng shui principles
- Integrating basic Permaculture features
- Earthen and Lime pozzolan plaster
- Permitting and design legalities
- Making the perfect cob/adobe mix
- Earthen insulative and thermal walls
- Installing electrical
This is a family friendly workshop. Parents are free to come in and out as they feel fit to assist their children. Children are encouraged to pitch in with parent support. Other activities will be offered for children style building and learning, close by with enough children registrations.
