Think Trees: An Ethnobotanical Tree Tour of the Trail
October 17 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
On this one-of-a-kind tour, participants will discover more about the native and noteworthy trees and woody plants that live on and support the banks of Lady Bird Lake. On this guided walk, Rachel Caldwell Hill & Tree Ambassadors from Austin Climate Action and Resilience, will engage participants in how the original inhabitants of this region interacted with local trees and relied on their relationships with the land for food, medicine, livelihood, social life, and more.
Perhaps you’ll walk away being inspired to connect with the natural world and your community in a new way. Check out the more trees on The Butler Trail (Link)
