Texas VegFest

This FREE public-education event celebrates the health, environmental, and animal benefits of vegan, plant-based diets. Individuals and families will have a variety of activities, vendors, cooking demos, presentations, live music, and more to enjoy.
Celebrate our 11th annual event between 11am and 6pm at Fiesta Gardens with free cooking demonstrations by Jesus Mendoza (Mr. Natural), Hannah Kaminsky (Bittersweet Vegan), and Gabby Martinez (Casa de Luz East). Indulge in delicious food by Bhakti Bites, Gati, Bodhi Viet Vegan, Zucchini Kill Bakery, Dumpling Haus, Celeste’s Bests, and more! Engage with various vendors and activities from Allied Scholars for Animal Protection, Austin/Travis County Food Plan, Black Medicine Collective, Sustainable Food Center, Plant Powered Athlete, Central Texas Mycological Society, and even more participants!
Texas VegFest provides free educational resources to the public focused on the health, environmental, and animal benefits of plant-based diets. We’ve attracted a base of 5,000 attendees each year for over 10 years.
