Talk Green To Me - Austin's Food System

From the City of Austin Office of Sustainability and the Austin Public Library –

Food is so much more than what we eat. The system that surrounds all things related to food provides the foundation for life and significantly shapes our culture. Come learn about the City of Austin’s commitment to strengthening and enhancing Austin’s entire food system, while reducing the hidden environmental, economic, and health-related costs to our community.

Presented by: Edwin Marty, Food Policy Manager for the City of Austin.

This event is free and open to the public, and part of the Austin Public Library’s “Talk Green to Me” series. It will take place in the Demonstration Area on the 1st floor. Can’t make it in person? We’ll be streaming it live on Facebook.
