Star Party: Saturday, August 18th!
It’s Star Party time again! Come take a tour of the night sky at Westcave Preserve, a dark sky location convenient to the Austin area. It’s an ideal opportunity for family fun gazing at the stars through a high-quality telescope.
The weather is perfect for some moon and star-gazing! Remember to bring your blanket or lawn chairs, as well as whatever snacks or beverages you might need to be comfortable and happy. Some bug spray might be in order, as well.

The Star Parties generally fill up so be sure to register early, and watch for your registration confirmation. We keep these events small so that everyone gets enough time at the telescopes!

Fee: $5 adult; $2 child
