How can we improve the City of Austin’s Air Quality program?
City of Austin maintains a goal to promote healthy outdoor air for all its residents and City policy makers want your input on how to best prepare for the growing air quality challenges in our region. Recently the Austin City Council passed a resolution which directed staff to work with stakeholder and provide recommendations for a more comprehensive air quality program. Specifically, in the areas of outreach/education, enforcement, technical assistance, planning/analysis, reporting and data collection.
Help us provide Council with recommendations for a more robust air quality program. Please share your ideas or suggestions on July 18th at City Hall from 11:00am – 1:00pm. If you are unable to attend the meeting in person you can visit http://austintexas.gov/webcast to view and participate online. Comments will also be accepted online at https://austintexas.granicusideas.com/discussions/comprehensive-air-quality-program until August 1st.
