The Open House will take place at the Statesman Bat Park on Saturday, April 30th between 10am and 4pm. All are welcome to come see the results of a three-year collaboration between city staff, residents, local business owners, property owners, and other stakeholders. This June, the City Council will consider adopting the South Central Waterfront Plan to ensure that great park spaces and public gathering places, green streets, and affordable housing are central to the future redevelopment of the area.
This is a family-friendly event with ice cream and refreshments, a petting zoo, face painting, and live music to accompany visitors as they explore the latest information on what’s happening (and what’s to come) along Austin’s South Waterfront.
