Join Solar Austin for an exciting and educational tour of La Loma, a local community solar farm in Austin!
Austin Energy will host this tour from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., offering a unique opportunity to learn how community solar works and understand firsthand how La Loma operates in partnership with our utility. Dive into the inner workings of solar energy production, how our utility measures solar energy, its value to our community, and connect with other renewable energy enthusiasts in a hands-on learning environment.
There’s street parking on Lott Ave, and if full, additional parking is available near Ortega Elementary School.

After the tour, join us for a drink at Hi Sign Brewing. Austin Energy and Solar Austin will teach us about significant changes to how Solar is reimbursed by the utility, known as Standard Offer. We will also talk about Solar for All. These are significant changes to our utility’s valuation of solar, so you don’t want to miss out.
For the first 50 people who sign up for the tour, we will sponsor one drink Hi Sign Brewing.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to understand solar incentives, ask questions, meet like-minded individuals, and get inspired by the progress in our local clean energy landscape.
Your small gift of $20 will support Solar Austin’s PV installations.
We have two exciting projects in the works!
