Slipper Assembly presents Slipper Summit: A Day of Storytelling & Solidarity for Asian Creatives, a full-day event to share our stories, build community, and make art together amongst fellow Asian creatives. Feeling the urgency of artistic resistance, the desire to challenge pressures to conform and compete, and the strength of community, Slipper Assembly will feature creative and thought-provoking workshops, discussions, and more.
Unlock hidden parts of yourself, push your art’s activism, and connect with other Asian creatives in meaningful ways at the Austin Central Library – Special Events Center (710 W Cesar Chavez St., Austin, TX 78701) on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 from 10am to 5pm.
Slipper Summit is presented by Slipper Assembly, fiscally sponsored by Austin Asian American Film Festival, and hosted by Austin Public Library. This project is supported in part by the City of Austin Economic Development Department.
